The Wedgies are our signature product. They were developed in 1994 to serve a particular need. In order to solder a 3-D project, it is necessary to have the seam in a horizontal position. Wedgies are:   Slip Resistant      Glass won't slide on a Wedgie

                            Heat Resistant

                    Touching a Wedgie with a hot iron won't hurt it. Liquid Solder just rolls off.

                            Acid Resistant     Flux won't harm a Wedgie either.

You can use your Wedgies to support all manner of projects. If you happen to get them slimed up with flux and dirt, simply hold them under some running water, brush them off with your thumbs or fingers, and pat them dry on a towel. They'll be like new. Wedgies are made of a closed cell material and will not absorb fluids.

The picture on the left above shows a pyramid supported on a set Wedgies so decorative soldering (or any soldering) can be done on a seam. The picture on the right shows a square foot of glass squeezed between two Wedgies. They can hold up small panels as well.

The picture on the left shows a normal set of Wedgies and a set of Mini-Wedgies we made for this demo. The picture on the right shows a square foot of glass being supported at a 45 degree angle off the edge of a table by one of the Mini-Wedgies. Even a tiny Wedgie has tremendous slip resistance.
